My meeting didn't open automatically: What should I check?

If a meeting time arrived and the tab didn't open automatically, don't worry! Here is a quick checklist to get things running smoothly again:

1. Is your browser open? Auto Join Meetings is a browser extension. It requires your browser (Chrome/Edge) to be open and running in the background to execute the automatic tab opening.

2. Did you include a valid meeting link? Our system scans your calendar event for recognized video conferencing links. Make sure the event location or description contains a valid link for Google Meet, Zoom, Webex, or Microsoft Teams.

3. Has your session expired? For your security, Google and Microsoft occasionally expire connection tokens.

  • Fix: Click the extension icon. If it asks you to log in again, simply click "Connect" to refresh your session.

4. Manually force a sync Sometimes, if you just created a meeting a few seconds ago, the background sync might not have caught it yet. Open the extension popup to force an immediate refresh of your schedule.

If you have checked all these steps and are still experiencing issues, please open a support ticket by clicking "Submit a Ticket" at the top of this page!
