Is My Calendar Data Safe? (Privacy & Security Explained)

When you connect a productivity tool to your calendar, security is naturally your top priority. At Auto Join Meetings, we built our system with a "Privacy-First" architecture. Here is exactly how we handle your data:

1. We do NOT see your passwords We use the official Google and Microsoft OAuth authentication systems. When you connect your account, you log in directly on their secure servers. We only receive a secure "token" that allows us to sync your meetings.

2. Read-Only Access Auto Join Meetings requests the minimum permissions required to function. We ask for read-only access to your calendar events solely to find the start time and the meeting link (Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc.). We cannot edit, delete, or create events on your behalf.

3. Where is my data stored? The core functionality of the extension runs locally in your browser. Your secure authentication tokens are stored locally on your device and safely managed by our backend to keep your session active.

4. No Data Selling or Tracking We do not sell your personal data, schedule information, or email address to third parties. Our business model is entirely supported by our Premium plan, not by monetizing your data. Furthermore, the extension does NOT track your general web browsing history.

Your privacy is safe with us so you can focus on having great meetings!
